Look at that! Look at that!

My son has entered the streaking phase. At first it was just pulling the pants down but now he’s figured out that pulling these little tabs pulls the diaper down.

Maybe I shouldn’t have laughed the first time he came waddling into the kitchen with his pants down around his ankles and a big grin on his face. C’mon though. When I went to grab him and his little feet went kicking away taking a million little steps a minute… it was high-sterical.

So, the need to be free and his “potty” comments have propelled me to buy a potty for the little man. I know it will be practice at this point and it’s way too early for any success but maybe this is the start of the journey.

Also, a new and funny behavior is that when I catch E doing something he’s not supposed to be doing he looks at me and tells me “Bye-bye Daddy!” At first I thought it was random but nope, he’s trying to get rid of me. Even before I can open my mouth I hear “Bye-bye, Daddy!” heh.

Ah yes...the joys of nudity. There was a stretch where I could not convince Andrew that there was any reason at all to wear clothes inside of our house. He would walk in the frong door and strip.

I'd forgotten about that.

If I remember correctly it started in the summer and ended when it got to winter and I set the thermostat for at a sufficiently cool temp.

Baby R did something like that awhile ago. He came crawling in with his diaper half off dragging. I laughed so hard and it was one of the few times a camera was handy.

Yondalla, you are wicked. LOL

Congrats on the next phase of childhood - keeping clothes on! hehehe

With Jaysen and Bethany, the ONLY way we could keep nappies on was to put them on back to front, so the tabs were at the back. Tricky at first, but it beats a nasty nappy being pulled off/down and stepped in.

Hope it goes well - we're approaching the same stage with Tamsyn at the moment!

yondalla, I hear ya. The temperature doesn't seem to bother E though. He's walking around pants down pulling his shirt up showing his belly. sigh.
