Sorry, Brian, but (I had to look it up in the dictionary) «swamped» as «flooded»? Why? Did it rain a lot over there? I heard nothing about that in the news... Oh man, that's just terrible! (If only that's the case.)
... «Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary» (10.th ed.), p. 1189... Dictionaries will always be dictionaries: they tell you everything but what you need to know... Thanks to you both!
Just your average gay dad trying to figure out this whole life, work, love, family thing. Really it's all in the blog... or well, a close proximity. Actually, it's all so complex can we really even begin to sum up our lives in these little missives. It's all fake. It's random. Who are you? Why am I here? Somebody pour me another drink.
Husband, Father, and more.

by unfortunately, i'm taking it this isn't a good kind of busy. hope it isn't nearly as hectic as it sounds like it may be.
try to have a good one yourself babe!
Ric, "swamped" is colloquial English (at least in the US) for "excessively busy."
I actually don't think I've ever heard it used as a synonym for "flooded." Of course "swamp" as a noun has its own meaning.
Anyway, Brian, sorry you're feeling swamped.
Hi Ric, yes as Monc said I meant "swamped" as in "busy."
Hi Greg, nice to meet you, thanks for commenting.
