Who put this calendar out? Was it actually the Catholic church??? I'm just rather stunned by the blatant homoeroticism in some of those pictures! Catholics are such hypocrites. (I used to be one so I'm allowed to say that)
No, it's not from the church. I'm not exactly sure who produces it. We bought one when we were in Rome and while it was sold near the Vatican it was nowhere to found in Vat City.
You know it's actually interesting that each picture by itself isn't particularly sexual but you put the group of all these good-looking guys together and they take on another meaning.
That just seems so wrong.
Is it actually real priests?
They appear to be real priests. Well, not all of them look like priests there could be some altar boys in there.
We need Alessandro to clear it up.

I wonder what would ever happen if such a calendar were to be sold in Lisbon, specially - as Brian says -if the church had something to do with its production... Man!!! Hell would freeze around here... And I'd throw a party!!!

Hmmm August and October. I hate to admit this but I actually belong to the Yahoo Group for this. Sigh maybe attendance would be higher at mass if every parish had these faces for inspiration.

Shocking update! One of the priests was revealed to be an actor! There's also a gondolier calendar and a Nuns having fun. I bet the gondoliers are all authentic. I couldn't any more photos but the cover.

Hello, I run the website for the calendar. Just to let you know, the gondoliers calendar is now available, and all the photos are on the website.
March and October...mmmm.... and i'm not religious so i have no regrets whatsoever!
....i guess i'm just partial to italian guys. after all i'm a half-italian gal lol
